QUESTIONS ON YOUR MIND
WHAT IS OSTEOPATHYÂ AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
Osteopathy is a gentle hands-on approach to therapy. The goal is to find areas in the body - various tissues, muscles, bones, joints and various systems including the lymphatic and nervous systems etc - that may not operating optimally. Osteopaths seek out the relationships between those issues and put them into balance. Osteopaths do this through palpation - feeling the state of the tissues and joints with their hands. The patient often will feel little to no pressure in an osteopathic treatment.

WHAT IS PILATES AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
Pilates is a method of exercise which focuses on precision, control, technique and flow. It aims to have you focus on certain muscles engaging and firing in the order they should for best biomechanics. Pilates is a low-impact non-aerobic type of exercise designed to increase flexibility, strength and endurance, as well as, balance. Though core strength is central to pilates, all parts of the body are involved in the practice.
WHAT IS TRIGENICS AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
Trigenics treatment helps to get your muscles firing optimally. This is done by lengthening and/or strengthening your muscles to create balance in the body and ensure optimal neurological function. This can help reset the nervous system and stabilize how the brain interprets pain. Trigenics treatment can be done manually or the practitioner can use a percussor or other equipment. After a treatment, exercises are often prescribed
by Trigenics® practitioners according to the patient's needs. This therapy can lead to increased flexibility, performance and strength.
